We, the people of the Gastonia Street Ministry, are here to serve everyone with compassion. We serve the poor, the broken, the addicts, and each other.
Compassion is the desire to alleviate someone else's suffering. Empathy is not required to feel compassion. You don't need to come from the same place or have suffered a similiar tragedy to want to help someone else.
Food is given out to the members of our community. We have many poor families who are living without the basic needs. Please give generously. We can only accepted canned goods and dry goods. Please check expiration dates carefully.
